Thornvale has been creating beautiful hand embroidered linens, soft furnishings. tablewear and accessories for nine years. Each item is meticulously embroidered by Sesotho women in the Free State, South Africa, and currently provides employment for 125 women. French d.m.c. embroidery thread is used to stitch the wide variety of designs onto 100% cotton percale, linen and other natural fabrics. All items - including plain linen, have been washed and are truly pre-shrunk.
